As an additional reminder, we will be closed Christmas Eve, December 24th and Christmas day, December 25th. We will reopen with regular hours on Friday, December 26th. Also, we will be closed New Year’s Day, Thursday, January 1st. V. Pauls will reopen with regular hours on Friday, January 2nd.

    We celebrated a friend’s birthday there last night and had the a great experience! The fresh tuna dish with tapenade was scrumptious, and I can’t wait to get home to try to replicate. The linguine and clams were some of the best ever had. Hands down–finest Italian restaurant on the gulf coast.

    Tried to get into Global Grill the night of a Saenger show, but it was packed. Stopped in here instead and happy we did! My husband and I shared some of the soft bread with a nice caesar salad. We followed with tagliata. Loved the tagliata. Would like to have that as an entree perhaps next time. There’s something fantastic about that thinly sliced undercooked meat that was perfect with the capers, arugula and shaved parm. Delish! Will make sure to have it again next time.

    I get great Italian food where I live in the San Francisco Bay Area but I have to say my fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, mushrooms and spinach was truly excellent.
