Gino moved to the US in 2003 to study music under the world renowned Daisy De Luca Jaffe. In 2009, he graduated with a Master’s degree in Classical Music Performance. Gino then started taking private Jazz lessons with Jazz pianist David Shelander, who studied with Bill Evans. During his time in the US. Gino went on to win many competitions and also got a chance to appear on the local TV and radio stations Gino also appeared several times on national TV performing solo, chamber, and with orchestra. Today Gino performs and does studio work on a regular basis with some of the best musicians around, including artists such as award winning violinist Karen Briggs, 2010 Award winner for best Jazz clarinet player Tim Laughlin, award winning flutist Kim Scott, Award winning Jazz guitarists Eric Essix and Adam Hawley, and world renowned flutist Althea Rene. “My goals are to continue giving virtuosic piano performances in both Jazz and Classical music…” says Gino.

    We celebrated a friend’s birthday there last night and had the a great experience! The fresh tuna dish with tapenade was scrumptious, and I can’t wait to get home to try to replicate. The linguine and clams were some of the best ever had. Hands down–finest Italian restaurant on the gulf coast.

    Tried to get into Global Grill the night of a Saenger show, but it was packed. Stopped in here instead and happy we did! My husband and I shared some of the soft bread with a nice caesar salad. We followed with tagliata. Loved the tagliata. Would like to have that as an entree perhaps next time. There’s something fantastic about that thinly sliced undercooked meat that was perfect with the capers, arugula and shaved parm. Delish! Will make sure to have it again next time.

  • Great Italian Food!
    I get great Italian food where I live in the San Francisco Bay Area but I have to say my fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, mushrooms and spinach was truly excellent.
