Do not miss this great celebration of the University of West Florida 2025 National championship golf team!

On May 22, 2025, Coach Steve Fell and his Argo golf squad rolled over the competition to win the Division 2 national golf championship! This is the 3rd national championship under Coach Fell’s leadership. Over the last 16 years, UWF and Coach Fell have been number 1 three times and number 2 four times. That is an unbelievable feat for our community, our college, and the UWF Argos.

Some famous players from the past and present who represented UWF are Christian Bosso, Chandler Blanchet, and David Lingmerth. In addition, Coach Fell has been the advisor and coach to one of the best players on the champions tour, Pensacola’s own Joe Durant, who has multiple wins on the PGA tour and most recently, multiple wins on the senior tour.

Join us to celebrate with the golf team, UWF, and Coach Fell at V.Paul’s restaurant, in downtown Pensacola, on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at 6 pm.

THIS IS A FUNDRAISER to raise money to celebrate the UWF golf team’s 3rd national championship. As part of the celebration, we will include a wine tasting of 4 wines that local wine expert, Judge Nick Geeker will lead. This fun wine tasting will be a blast with lots of great stories and tributes to the UWF golf team. As part of the fun during the wine tasting, there will be multiple opportunities to bid on terrific items such as gift certificates from V.Paul’s and other establishments. There will also be a lot of great golf items to bid on as well. Come prepared to bid on some terrific stuff. This is going to be fun!

Dignitaries from the University of West Florida will be in attendance as well as dignitaries from the Pensacola and the Escambia County community.
